Research
My research first started with a one-on-one interview with Jordan, getting to understand what makes him happy and his values. By looking into the Design For Happiness Deck, I was able to get a deeper look into Jordan’s emotions, personal goals, and character strengths/virtues that best represent him. Once I understood his values, emotions, and personal goals I was able to get a better understanding of his journey and what he would need to achieve his goals.
Getting Closer to User-Centered Design

User Journey Map
By creating and exploring the journey maps of Jordan’s persona and his typical day, I was able to create a journey that Completit needs to address.
Understanding What Users Find Intuitive, and Why
Creating rough sketches of the completit app to see which layout is working for what the app is intented for.
Low-Fidelity Prototype
Created a low-fidelity version of the app to get an understanding of the flow and the function of the app.
Completit is a productivity app with a twist. The twist is being able to redeem experience points to redeem to either customize their app and avatar, donate to an organization or charity of their choice out of a selection of places, or to save for another day. Completit strives to bring fun to completing tasks and goals to help bring the user closer to their end goal.
Completit aims to help users create good and healthy habits, for example being organized can help with productivity that is made from day to day that will pay off in the long term. Having the ability to prioritize and organize goals by main goals, sub-goals, and urgency would be helpful to have a clearer mind as to what needs to be done first. Motivation is also a great factor in getting goals done and skills developed since motivation can push people towards their goals since they desire change and to solve existing problems.
